Meet the Team: Diego Soto – Faith, Fashion, and Fast Learning from Seagoville to the Sales Floor

At Thrills Marketing, we put people first, always. Whether it’s striking up a conversation in the field or helping a new team member grow into their potential, everything we do starts with one simple belief: real success is built face-to-face. We spotlight one of the incredible individuals who helps make that mission possible. This time, we’re introducing someone who leads with laughter, learns with speed, and lives with faith, Diego Soto from Seagoville, Texas.

Diego made his first sale during a moment many of us remember well: a mix of nerves, uncertainty, and hope. “It was an older couple,” he recalls. “I remember being nervous I would screw everything up, but they were patient and just happy to be helped.” That experience taught him something valuable right away, most people don’t expect perfection, just authenticity. And Diego brings that level of realness to every interaction. He’s not in this to act like a salesperson. He’s in it to help people, and that’s what makes him connect so naturally.

Describing his working style, Diego keeps it simple: “I love making people laugh.” That gift of humor is powerful, it disarms tension, builds trust, and breaks down barriers. At Thrills Marketing, we pair passion with positivity, and Diego is a perfect example of both. When the energy is high, the results follow.

But Diego also knows life, and business, aren’t always hilarious. There will be tough days, doubts, and setbacks. His approach? Focus. “Focusing on what’s important helps me block out the noise,” he says. That kind of clarity is what turns good days into great ones and bad days into valuable lessons. It’s one thing to be upbeat, it’s another to be grounded while doing it.

What might surprise you about Diego? He has a real interest in the fashion world. From brands and trends to creative expression, he’s fascinated by the ways people use style to define themselves. It adds another layer to who he is, a guy who’s both approachable and expressive, both laid-back and deeply thoughtful.

When he’s off the clock, Diego enjoys life’s simple but fulfilling pleasures: music, exploring new places, and spending quality time with his girlfriend. And while he might describe that as “pretty normal,” it speaks volumes about the kind of person he is. He values relationships. He values presence. And that brings a quiet kind of leadership to the table, one that’s easy to respect and easy to trust.

He lives by a meaningful quote:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
It’s a reminder of where his strength comes from, especially when the work gets tough or the future feels uncertain. Faith isn’t just a belief for Diego, it’s a foundation. It shapes how he handles adversity and how he sets goals for his future.

Curious, capable, and confident, Diego sees himself as a fast learner, which makes him unstoppable in our fast-paced, always-learning environment. He’s already collected a few valuable life and business lessons along the way:

  • Falling is okay. Staying down is not.

  • When in doubt, remind yourself how capable you are.

  • The stronger the team, the easier the work.

All three of those fit right into our sports mindset at Thrills Marketing: teamwork, resilience, and the student mentality. You don’t need to know it all to start. You just have to be willing to learn, adapt, and get back up when you fall.

Diego speaks both Spanish and English, which allows him to connect with even more customers on a personal level, something we consider a superpower in today’s world of face-to-face sales.

And if you gave him a weekend to get away? Diego says he’d love to travel to Georgia, maybe for a little adventure, maybe just for the vibe. Either way, we know he’d take his smile, work ethic, and positive attitude with him.

Diego Soto reminds us that greatness in business isn’t about being the loudest person in the room, it’s about uplifting others, trusting your growth, and keeping your faith at the center of it all. We’re proud to have Diego on the Thrills Marketing team and even more excited to see everything he’ll continue to accomplish.
