Meet the Team: Diana – From Telenovelas to Time Management, This L.A. Native Brings Energy and Excellence

At Thrills Marketing, our edge in sales comes from something no algorithm can replicate, the power of human connection. Every team member brings something distinct to the table, blending individuality with a shared mission of making genuine, lasting impressions. Today, we're excited to introduce you to Diana, a standout from Los Angeles, California, with a passion for people, precision, and a little bit of adrenaline.

Diana made her very first sale on her very first day, a moment as memorable as it was meaningful. “I was with my trainer, and the entire interaction was in Spanish,” she explains. “My trainer didn’t speak any Spanish, so I got to translate. It felt like being in a telenovela!” With a mix of nerves, curiosity, and trust in the coaching she'd received, Diana stepped up, showing that resourcefulness and instinct are sometimes your best tools in sales. That first sale wasn't just a win, it was a signal: she was built for this.

Her working style reflects her biggest communication strengths: verbal, written, and most importantly, interpersonal. “I enjoy interacting with others and sharing clear information,” she says. Her ability to connect, explain, and build rapport makes her a natural fit in a face-to-face marketing environment. She's not afraid of conversation; she thrives in it.

Like many of us, Diana has faced adversity and self-doubt. But she meets them with a wise and grounded mindset: “Acknowledging that adversity and doubt are natural parts of any journey or project.” That level-headedness and emotional maturity are hallmarks of someone who truly understands what growth looks like; it’s not always linear, but it’s always worth it.

What you might not guess about her? Diana is a trained vocational nurse and a dental assistant. She also knows how to play the trombone! Talk about versatility. Her diverse background speaks to a wide range of skills, responsibility, care, discipline, and creativity. And at Thrills, that combination serves her in more ways than one.

When she’s off the clock, you can probably catch Diana at Six Flags. She’s big on family, fun, and the heart-racing thrill of roller coasters. That love for excitement carries into her work too, she embraces new challenges and thrives in the fast-paced rhythm of our industry.

Her guiding life philosophy? “It’s not about how the world happens. It’s about how you happen to the world.” That’s classic Diana, intentional, empowered, and focused on the action she can take rather than the circumstances she's in. At Thrills, we call that proactive leadership, and it’s something we strive to nurture in every team member.

When asked about her biggest strength, Diana gives a solid answer: “Time management and the ability to talk to people.” This balance of organization and interpersonal skills is a winning combo in both business and life.

Here are three powerful lessons Diana has picked up on her journey so far:

  1. You have to show up for yourself first.

  2. Nothing should be more stable to you than you.

  3. Becoming valuable to others helps you grow.

These insights reflect the values we live by at Thrills Marketing: resilience, reliability, and continuous personal growth.

Language is another of Diana’s superpowers. She’s bilingual in English and Spanish and also knows American Sign Language (ASL), giving her the unique ability to connect across multiple communities. In face-to-face marketing, being able to understand and empathize with people from various backgrounds is not just helpful, it’s essential.

If given the chance to travel, Diana says she would love to visit Greece. Given her passion for adventure and new experiences, we’re certain she’d soak in not just the beautiful views, but the culture, history, and opportunity to learn and grow, even while on vacation.

Diana is the kind of person who reminds you that you don't just join a company like Thrills, you help shape it. She shows up with energy, insight, and the willingness to keep stretching beyond her comfort zone. Whether she’s navigating her first sale, organizing her day like a pro, or leading with love and laughter, Diana proves what we believe at our core: when people grow, companies grow.

Stay tuned for next month’s team feature, and remember, just like Diana says, it’s not about how life happens to you. It’s about how you happen to life.
